Kat has always had at least one pet around for the past 20 years. Most of the time, she's had many: typical dogs and cats to hamsters, rabbits, rats, mice, and guinea pigs. Furthermore, for 10 of those years, she's been found inside a veterinary clinic either volunteering or working.She graduated from Seneca College in 2016 from the Veterinary Technician program. After working as an RVT for a few years, Kat decided to explore the field of Social Work. However, in the end she was brought back to the world of veterinary medicine.Kat still has a big heart for community work and when she's not at the clinic, she can be spending some time tutoring kids. Her time is also divided into spending time with her husband and her variety of pets - her dogs (Pebble and Maki), cat (Poyo), and rats (Binky, Pinky, Tinky, and Winky).All these experiences both personally and professionally have given Kat a great passion for the caring of our animal companions. When you meet Kat at the receptionists' desk, she will always be happy to share her enthusiasm with you and your fur babies!
